Embarking on this path can feel exciting, it can also feel confronting and overwhelming. It takes courage to go inside and devote time and space to your peace and growth in a world that tells us we must keep going and producing. When we begin to fill up our own cup, we no longer feel the need to pour from an empty one or seek outside of ourselves to feel full.
As wise souls in human bodies, we are wired for connection and hold an innate need to experience feelings of love, safety and belonging. When we undergo a rupture or big shift in our lives we develop ways to survive in order to create feelings of safety; oftentimes our attempts to create a sense of safety are rooted in fear rather than love. The coping mechanisms we develop can feel heavy and destructive manifesting as deep rooted shame, addictions, a loud inner critic, relationship issues, perfectionism, panic attacks, somatic issues, eating disorders, lack of direction and feelings of sadness or fear, to name a few. My goal is to guide you towards uncovering your authenticity and give space to the parts that are longing to be liberated. I support you in developing new ways to address root issues in order to create feelings of agency and harmony in your life.
My approach is person centered, trauma informed and relational. I utilize cognitive behavioral therapy (cbt) tools, psychodynamic therapy and eye movement desensitization reprocessing (emdr) in my practice. Together we work towards reaching your specific therapeutic goals while exploring your values, desires and strengths.
When we work together, we explore your thoughts, feelings and behaviors. We may focus on your history to create a clear understanding of the present moment and develop newfound insight.
I often work with those who struggle with perfectionistic tendencies, shame, trauma, unwanted relational and emotional patterns and eating disorders. My clients often come to therapy with the goal of feeling connected to their wholeness and true selves.
Healing is possible.

Amazing! You’ll schedule a free phone consultation where you can ask any additional questions you might have about working together and I gather important general information. Once we decide to work together we will schedule your first appointment.
The intake process consists of two sessions. In the first session we get to know each other on a deeper level, I learn more about your presenting problem and you have the space to share in detail what has brought you to therapy. In the second session we review a diagnostic survey you will have completed. Once the assessment process is complete, we begin our work together.
Currently I work virtually using a HIPAA compliant platform. I am licensed in NY and Connecticut and serve clients in both states. If you are local to me, we have the option of meeting for walk and talk therapy sessions. In coming weeks I expect to be in person one day a week in the Westchester area.
My style is interactive, empathetic and genuine. I work with my clients to help them gain a deeper level of self intimacy, clarity and confidence. We don’t work towards perfection, rather towards understanding and creating meaningful shifts in their lives that feel nourishing and rewarding. Together we understand the impact of past experience and traumas and work towards lasting change. I hold my clients accountable while remaining understanding and curious.
